Our studio is located in Carmel, less than a mile from the town center. The house faces out over Hatton Canyon and affords a private rural setting yet close to Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Monterey, etc. 15 Minute walk to Carmel downtown. A hub to explore Big Sur and all the Monterey Peninsula has to offer. Due to certain regulatory changes regarding minimum stay, the dates you are requesting may not be available. While we prefer longer stays, do make an inquiry to us about the dates you want.

Carmel Rustic Cabin Like a Treehouse + Dog

Stay in our Carmel Rustic Cabin along with your dogs (see dog fee below) while shopping, visiting local wineries and restaurants or just walking your dog off-leash along Carmel's white sandy beach. Hidden in the woods, our rustic cabin is like a treehouse with all the amenities and minutes from downtown and the beaches. FYI the coast drive is now accessible between here and LA, but may be shut down during stormy weather, so be sure to follow local weather reports or just call Caltrans.

The Retreat at Point Lobos

The exclusive Retreat at Point Lobos is the perfect place to stay when visiting Carmel, Monterey, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove or the Big Sur area. Located on private property within California's Point Lobos Ranch Preserve, it is surrounded by open space and native oak and pine forest. Just across the Pacific Coast Highway from the world-famous Point Lobos State Reserve, the private setting is the perfect spot for a quiet get-a-way for a couple or family of up to five.

It is the perfect place to stay and visit remote Big Sur to the south, but also be close to the incredible restaurants & shops in Carmel.
