This unique stay features a single open space where natural light shines down through skylights in the peak and into the lofted bedroom. If the skies do get cloudy all day, you'll still have everything you need with a full kitchen and living room space, bath, TV, and Wifi. All that is missing is the deer and the antelope, though you may see a few cows!

Delve into the history of this unique and memorable renovated 1898 limestone schoolhouse. Ring the bell, write on the 125 year old blackboard and explore the original details throughout this amazing property. The culinary kitchen, great room and large deck provide spectacular views of the Flint Hills. We are located a half mile North of I-70 on Route 99, the Road to Oz. The quaint downtown of Wamego is only 10 minutes away and 25 minutes from Manhattan, both with shops, food and entertainment.

Located 2 blocks from the State Capitol Building and a 5 minute walk to Kansas Avenue, the main downtown street with many shopping and dining options, this apartment is roomy and comfortable. With one queen bed and a queen airbed available upon request, up to 4 people can sleep comfortably in this unit. The unit has been fully renovated and is part of an 18 unit building which was built in 1904. Modern features and amenities have been added to the apartment, the building, and the grounds.

Master bath has shower for all guests to share, and half bath is off the living room. Large living room is very comfortable, kitchen has dining for 4 with extra seating available. Heartland Ranch is a short distance south of Topeka. Heartland Ranch, is quiet and private. We offer a unique country stay. This lodging is a cowboy bunkhouse with "down-home comfort" in a casual country setting. This is not a "Disney" experience and frankly the farm "stay" isn't for everyone! Occupancy is limited to your online reservation. Be sure to review Kansas Laws for alcohol age use or illegal drugs list. No firearms are allowed on the Heartland Ranch propert.
