Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

This is a one bedroom stand alone garage apartment guest house that can sleep up to 4 people with a Queen bed in the bedroom, queen sleeper sofa in the living room and an additional trundle bed located in the living room. Just minutes from everything! Only 75 min to Mt. Baker! You will love the private neighborhood this is located in and for those who love to cook, it has a full gourmet kitchen!

Sweet retreat 1-bedroom house close to beach

Need a get-away? Whole house to yourself. Private, cozy, quiet, comfortable bungalow. Fenced in backyard if you are travelling with your 4-legged friend. Two-minute walk to the ferry dock for a visit to Lummi Island. This guest house is not directly on or facing the beach. However, when you walk about 50 feet, through the gate, on the side of and past the main house, you will be next to the beach and can watch the sunset over Lummi Bay on Gooseberry Point in relaxed Whatcom County.

Little White House at Birch Bay, U.S.A.

Located in Birch Bay, WA, near Semiahmoo. Beach access is 1.6 miles away. You will be greeted with simple design, relaxing decor and lots of natural light. This little house has personality. Soak up sunshine on the deck or look at the bay from the dining table. Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club is 2.9 miles from the house. We are 6 miles from I-5, a 15 minute drive from the Canadian border and Blaine, and 23 miles from Bellingham International Airport.

Comfortable studio with separate entrance and patio area. 1 queen bed; love seat that pulls out into a bed. Separate table and 2 chairs for work and eating. Window AC unit in the summer. Full bath and kitchenette (mini-fridge and microwave). Off street parking. Public access to birch bay beach across the street. Property is bordered by a creek (great for guests who bring their paddleboards or kayaks). 5 min walk to Birch Bay State Park.

Check out this cozy studio at Snowline Lodge in Glacier! It’s just 30 minutes from Mt. Baker Ski Area and close to awesome hikes like Twin Lakes, Yellow Aster Butte, and Heliotrope Ridge Trail. No cleaning fees. No check-out checklist. Fully stocked. Pets are welcome! And you’re right next door to Chair 9, a great pizza and bar spot for post-hike or post-ski meals. There’s even a den with a pool table, ping pong and fireplace for some extra fun!

Guest House—200sq ft (B&B-permit USE2o18oo1o)

We built the Tiny Guest House for friends and family and love sharing the space with people traveling to Bellingham. The tiny house is within walking distance of both WWU (1.0 mile) and downtown (0.8 miles). The Guest House is quite small (200sf); it has a queen bed in the loft and a full sized futon on the main floor. And while it has NO kitchen, we do offer a microwave, mini fridge, and keurig coffee, tea and cocoa machine.

The Chuckanut “Treehouse”

Come sit in the Trees on Chuckanut Drive in this cozy, quiet, 1 bedroom, full bathroom on a secluded drive. Enjoy the private entrance and spacious deck in the towering forest of the Great Pacific Northwest. The house is anchored into rocks that hang over a lush ravine. The decks are 20-30 feet off the ground, the construction is like living in a treehouse. Enjoy the owls at night and the birds singing in the day!
