An old family home full of antiques, peace and quietness, A spacious environment with an outdoor braai area. A 5 bedroom and 2 bathroom house with enough space for a large family. One of the bathrooms are outside the house with a flushing toilet and a bath. Large traditional kitchen and pantry. A sunny porch with a view of the mountains of the Karoo. Free outdoor parking. A mountain retreat for artists, lovers, writers, gardeners, hikers, birders, farmers, adventurers and all in pursuit of peace and beauty. Please note: 4x4 or capable high clearance vehicle required. Getting here is part of the adventure! The farm is only 5km off the R62 but this is a gravel mountain pass that requires the right vehicle. If you are travelling in a normal car or small SUV please reach out to make alternative arrangements for this last part of your journey.

This means exquisite views, waterfalls and walks.  The cottage is nestled into the hillside, amidst rockery and fynbos. With no neighbouring farms, cell reception, nor electricity, one is able to experience a true getaway.
