The DNR stocked trout stream (West Canoe Creek) is less than 100 yards from the front door and flows through this 24 acre sanctuary. Mowed trails provide easy hiking and exploring. Come unplug from everyday life to see what this secluded property offers!

Burr Oak House

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in the center of Bluff Country! Located 11 miles north of Decorah, less than 22 miles to the Lanesboro area and less than 7 miles to most the Upper Iowa River port ins near Bluffton, IA. Burr Oak is home to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, the only childhood home that remains on its original site. Come spend a few days relaxing in this quaint, relaxed community and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

Cowboy Cabin

Secluded and peaceful cabin on top of quarry cliff, just a few minutes from town. The cabin will comfortably sleep four, with two mattresses in the loft and a futon in the living area. There is no electricity to the cabin but there is a nice power block with up to 14 hours of use per charge. 10 gal. of water is provided, also a camp-bag shower. An outhouse is on site. Wood: first bundle free, 8$ for additional large bundles Stock tank cool plunge pool: lightly chlorinated.

The lodge sits up above Canoe Creek with great trout fishing on its banks and overlooks the historical NE Iowa Canoe Creek Steel Bridge. Perfect for family getaway. Only 10 miles outside of Decorah Iowa and near the Upper Iowa River.

A quiet, serene escape in a beautiful valley perfect for relaxing, reuniting with family, and renewing your spirit. This walkout level has three bedrooms (accommodates 6 people), three bathrooms with double sinks, as well as a common area. Guests have their own parking, entrance, and patio. All bedrooms overlook a pond, creek and flowerbeds. There is a small beach and dock on the large pond, where guests can fish or kayak.

Bear Creek Bungalow’s Little Red Cabin

The Little Red Cabin is located just 15 minutes outside of Decorah, Iowa in the beautiful Highlandville area. The cozy and recently updated cabin is situated just a few feet from Mestad Spring that feeds into South Bear Creek, one of the top trout streams in Iowa. Public fishing access is located steps away! Sit outside on the front deck and take in all the fresh air and beautiful scenery the area has to offer!

Whats New Cabin and Antique Store

Hello, this is a two bedroom log cabin with full kitchen area, bathroom with shower, sitting area with satellite tv, and covered deck. The cabin is on a 3 acre pond with good fishing and a sand beach, boats and kayaks are available for use. There is also a covered shelter with picnic tables and an extra bathroom and shower, all in the shelter . A secluded area - 1/4 mile private driveway. New in 2016.

Bluffside Gardens Redbud Series Unit 7A

Bluffside Gardens is Decorah's newest way to stay, featuring 11 rental units, extensive garden spaces, workout room, a fitness center and direct bike trail access, we hope to see you soon! Our Redbud Series Unit 7A Unit features one king bed, pull out couch, microwave, minifridge, private patio, and a flat screen TV. Please note that there is steps with handrail to access this unit.

Cabin with full kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, 1 full bath, lower level has 2 futons, satellite TV, central air, extra large deck, gas grill. Less than 1 mile from Decorah's bike trail, Decorah Eagle Nest, Iowa State Fish Hatchery, 500' to snowmobile trail, fire pit with wood supplied.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Tucked among the trees but with the convenience of located 5 minutes from town, 200 yards from the Upper Iowa River, with plenty of outdoor activities such as biking and hiking close by. The cabin has a large screened in front porch, patio and fire pit area, that provide plenty of spaces to relax.
