This unique place has a style all its own. This apartment is located downtown on the brickstreets of beautiful, historic, Mineola, Texas. It is directly above our cocktail and cigar bar, RNA Tavern. Walking Distance to several local antique shops, bakeries, restaurants, and drinking establishments. The best of everything right outside. Mineola is centered in Lake Country, where you're a short drive to multiple lakes, including Lake Fork and only 35 minutes from the famous Canton Tx 1st Monday.

Enjoy a short drive to the Mineola Nature Preserve with paved walking trails, playground and covered pavilion. We are close to several beautiful lakes, historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert) or just stay home and enjoy front porch sitting to appreciate the stars and trees. We are about a 40 minute drive to Canton (home of the First Monday Trade Days) and about 6 miles from the Amtrak station in Mineola. Our Place is a quiet lakefront getaway on Lake Winnsboro that offers excellent fishing, boating, skiing and swimming. Time seems to slow down when you're at Our Place. Visit in October for Autumn Trails and celebrate brilliant fall foliage and events such as parades, antique car and tractor shows, pageants and even a trail ride.

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

Come and enjoy a slice of heaven. Mother Nature has provided a beautiful scenery full of nature sounds and calls of the wild. You can sit on the screen porch overlooking the lake and feel peace. You can sit by a fire outdoors and feel free and private and safe and hear the crickets and bullfrog. There's nothing but love, peace and joy here. There's room for social distancing and I covid clean and I am vaccinated.
