Tap your toes to local bluegrass music at festivals in historic downtown Galax and the Music Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway! Located just off of Hwy 58, and about 5 miles from I-77.

Hideaway Log Cabin

Unique place has a style all its own. It is private, one year old now and hand worked by owner. NO PETS. Small 350+ sq feet. Open floorplan, no separate bedroom. Large front porch with wooden rockers. Kitchen is very small, with most everything except for oven. Has two small ponds with fish in them loaner poles and tackle in closet no license required. It's in the woods there is wildlife, stream and old growth trees to view. Park style charcoal grill in the yard. Hammock, picnic area at ponds.

It has a view of Skull Camp mountain and you can swing on the front porch. Conviently located close to Raven Knob Scout Camp. Close to a stocked trout river, Fisher River. Located within minutes of I-77 and I-74. Local attractions include Mayberry, RFD and Pilot Mountain. Located 15 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway also.

Our country cottage has been 100% completely renovated and is a peaceful place for a destination or a great alternative to local commercial lodging. Our cottage features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, washer and dryer, covered porches, and a country view. Our cottage is conveniently located for our guests to enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway, New River Trail State Park, Historic downtowns of Hillsville, Galax, and Mt. Airy, Floyd Fest, the Fiddler’s Convention, and of course, the Hillsville Flea Market.

Windsong Tree top yurt w/ hot tub

Windsong, nestled in the tree tops in the Blue Ridge Mountains, more of a treehouse than yurt! This yurt has internet, an upper deck w/ a hot tub and a lower deck with a gas firepit. There is an outside firepit with fire wood, and the yurt is comfortable year round with a minisplit, propane fireplace and a generator. Enjoy the soaking tub in the bathroom and the walk in tiled shower. A hammock hangs beneath the yurt, and there are two other yurts at different elevations for privacy.

Barn House

Ready for a rustic getaway? Our unique rental is located in a working horse barn and wedding venue in the peace and quiet of the country, and less than 5 minutes from I-77! Enjoy your morning coffee on our porch overlooking the rolling hills and pasture fields. Horses do not live in the barn anymore, but in our pasture surrounding the barn. You can enjoy morning or evening walks around the hay field or with a short drive get to the river or new river trail for some outdoor activities!
