A ten minute walk away from the village of Caergwrle with its own "castle" and rail line Estyn Lodge is set in beautiful countryside and offers far reaching views over Cheshire and North Wales. Battle Bessie is a unique ammunition wagon which served her country for 21 years. She has been lovingly converted to a 1940s home front style complete with four poster bed, vintage kitchen and sole use private and toilet/shower room on site. We have an abundance of activities including kayaking courses (storage and drying available here) paddle boarding, international mountain bike downhill track. We have numerous walks including the Offa’s Dyke path and for the less energetic, a relaxing horse drawn canalboat experience. We are also in close proximity to many wedding venues in the area.
