Our 1800's homestead was a stop on the Underground Railroad & a land grant to a Revolutionary War Veteran. The cottage is surrounded on 2 sides with a deck that overlooks the pond and the bike trail. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. The Mitchell Car is cozy but has the feel of a traditional caboose. Our Chessie System No. 3277 sleeps 4: 1 queen bed and 2 bunks. It has a stand up shower. The sink in the bathroom is original to the car. Single pod coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave are provided. Linens and bedding are provided. Cyclists are welcome to bring their bikes inside.
