【蔵】　ABOUT&CONCEPT Mt. FUJI HOSTEL SAMURISE KURA -蔵- is located only a few minutes walk away from Kawaguchiko station. As you arrive, you will be welcomed by the Japanese garden, where you can see the beautiful Japanese red maple in autumn time. The small house that was built about 70 years ago was now reborn as Mt. FUJI BASE HOSTEL SAMURISE KURA -蔵-, and has been welcoming guests from all over the world since 2017. We respected and maintained the traditional Japanese style in the process of refurbishment, so you could enjoy and experience the traditional Japanese housing. We offer 4 different types rooms [Ume(梅) Momiji(椛) Sakura(桜) Tsubaki(椿)] depending on the group size (a child counted as 1 person, only aged 6 and up acceptable). We can keep your luggage free of charge before you check-in and after check-out. We also do a bicycle hire, which is very convenient for cycling around Lake Kawaguchi looking over Mt. Fuji and sightseeing the nearby attractions. We look forward to meeting you in Kawaguchiko!

Standard Japanese-Style Room. Best for a family or travel with friends. (Maximum of 5 people) This room has Wide-Extended View of Mt.Fuji. Wash-basin is inside the room. This washitsu* has a Japanese low table and zabutons* on tatami* flooring,shoji* screen. You sleep on futons* lay on the tatami and sit directly on the tatami or on zabutons set on the tatami. We are a smoke-free hostel. All rooms are no smoking. Washitsu*: Japanese style room Zabuton*: Japanese cushion tatami*: Thick straw mats that cover the floor Shoji*: sliding paper screen futon*: Traditional Japanese bedding consisting of padded mattresses and pliable quilts.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

Deep in the mountains of Tokyo, it is usually operated as a members-only co-working/vacation space, but you can stay here as a trial use. Surrounded by greenery, water, and mountain paths, it is hard to believe it is in Tokyo. You can work and stay comfortably in a wood-scented room with a view of the greenery outside. A beautiful river flows right below the terrace. In winter, you can relax by the fireplace. You can enjoy the great nature of Tokyo.

Irori Guesthouse Tenmaku Family Room

Irori guesthouse -Tenmaku- It is opened in 2018 after spending 7month for renovation of an old Japanese ryokan. You can enjoy "Irori" which is Japanese traditional fire pit, in our common space. Also, you can try some craft beer and picked up Japanese sake at bar The location offers good access to the Hakone Open-Air Museum and the station.

｛Ryokan x Guesthouse = ONSEN GUESTHOUSE TSUTAYA｝ Enjoy 100% natural ONSEN in traditional Hakone area!! After taking a bath, have a great time at our free lounge space thorough the new meeting from all over the world. The room is cabin-type mixed dormitory. Enough space for 1 person to get relaxed.

Irori Guesthouse Tenmaku Mix Dormitory Room

Irori guesthouse Tenmaku is opened from May 2018 after the 6months renovation. The common area was designed Japanese modern style, and you could stay and enjoy the fire from Irori (Japanese traditional fire pit). You could also get along other guests by joining the share dinner we hold every night.

3-5 person Japanese-style tatami room with private bathtub and toilet (shampoo, conditioner, body soap included). You can also relax in our communal natural onsen (hot spring) accompanied with open-air bath. We are a smoke-free hostel. All rooms are non-smoking. There is no TV in the room.
