Walkers Rest at The Hayloft - The Brecon Beacons

Nestled in the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, this recent addition to an (ex) 1800s pub is a cosy yet spacious self catering space. Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Upstairs, double bedroom, TV, Hairdryer, wardrobe, hangers, bedside cabinets lamps, Iron & ironing Board. With commanding views over Monmouth, the Wye Valley and beyond, Wern Farm Cottage is a cosy but spacious recluse ideally situated for all that Monmouthshire has to offer. Light, airy and welcoming with zip and link beds. We can accommodate 2-4 flexible to your needs. We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!

Village centre cottage step back in time

Hidden down a cobbled lane, this 18th century workers cottage has oodles of charm. An open fireplace, oak beams and traditional furniture allows you to step back in time and really relax. But there is still the benefit of modern life; wifi and a power shower! There are so many walks in the area: The Brecon canal, river Usk and Crickhowell are all close. Crickhowell has a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes. Walking guides and maps are provided.

Beautiful 1 bedroom self-catering cottage. Situated within a stunning barn conversion, complete with gallery and cafe. The cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine & dishwasher. The en-suite has a bath & shower. We are happy for you to bring your lovely pets, the outdoor private area for the cottage is not fully enclosed sadly but we do have a paddock you can use and there are plenty of fab dog walking/swimming spots locally.
