The Tower

The Tower is the perfect romantic high-end getaway for couples who want to get away from it all in a secluded location and fancy just something different. The Tower has recently been converted for use as a holiday let which was previously an unused ancillary building adjacent to The Water Works, an old water treatment plant near Bolsover, converted to domestic use in 2002 and featured on the Channel 4 programme Grand Designs. Our beautifully restored Railway Carriage sits tucked away on our small remote campsite within its own private drystone-walled garden, surrounded by the rolling hills of the Peak District. Light the log-burning stove, pour a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the Derbyshire hills. En-suite shower, double bed, Smart TV with Netflix, and a BBQ included. The perfect couples' escape. Whether you're after long walks, cosy pub lunches, or simply relaxing.

A private, self-contained, en-suite annex, next to the River Wye, in a tranquil setting. Direct access to covered decking area & shared garden so you can enjoy the water, wildlife and countryside. Food prep area with fridge, microwave, sink, kettle & toaster. Plenty of walks from the doorstep, cycle routes and climbing opportunities. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District. Car strongly recommended. The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.

Rokeby Cottage has recently been refurbished to provide a comfortable relaxing stay any time of the year. Nestled within the Hope Valley, Hathersage offers exceptional walks from the front door ranging from circular 3 mile strolls to all-day hikes. Rokeby Cottage is a 5 minute walk from the village centre which hosts a great range of excellent pubs, cafes and shops.

The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
