Cozy and romantic get away only a few steps from the Great Glen Way and a 15min drive to Inverness. Perfect if you're looking for some peaceful time amongst nature. On our Off-Grid Permaculture Croft we keep ducks, chickens and bees, have a huge green house and a large outdoor vegetable garden, fire pit & hammocks. When you book a stay you will be surrounded by nature, waking to wild birdsong and a glorious sunrise and visited by red deer in the evening with spectacular sunsets and Aurora.

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

The property is situated in a secluded part of our garden approximately 22 meters from the main house, with stunning views onto a beautiful field and Wardlaw Mausoleum (Outlander) We are just 1 mile from the NC500 route, 8 miles from Inverness,, 4 miles from the the pretty little village of Beauly. There is an hourly bus service that runs from kirkhill which can take you to both places. Achnagairn castle is just a 5 minute walk away.

Our renovated Old School is the ideal location from which to explore Inverness, the Black Isle, and the NC500. Just ten minutes by car from Inverness town centre we are in a beautiful rural location on the Black Isle. Finished to a high standard, our bright and airy property has excellent facilities, and is somewhere you can relax, and use as your base for walking, cycling, or touring. We have a large garden which you are welcome to use, and a secure shed for cyclists to store bikes.

This bespoke, spacious, bright, luxury Glamping Pod is self contained and situated in a private, secluded part of our property. The private deck, along with outdoor furniture & chiminea, overlook beautiful fields & mountains. Located just 1 mile from the NC500 route. Our pod boasts a king size bed, shower room & furnished kitchen, which includes a fridge/freezer, microwave & slow cooker. Other amenities available on request. We are in a very quiet location. The house is attached as a separate unit to our home. The cottage has been equipped and furnished to ensure as relaxing and comfortable holiday as possible, and it has its own individual character and style. You will have full and individual access to the guest house and all of its amenities. With lovely views over the hills of Beauly and the Ben Wyvis to the west is the ideal location to base yourself for touring the Highlands .

This is an open plan space, converted to the highest standards in 2022. It offers a contemporary feel, designed for comfort and has everything you’ll need for the duration of your stay. This space is entirely separate from our own home, allowing you your privacy, however it should be noted that it is nestled within our property boundary looking onto our garden/driveway. Please note that while we have WIFI it can, on occasion, be slow/intermittent.
