The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
Spittal is the former farm house, it sits at the front of a farm yard development. The house it’s self dates back to 1702. There are 2 private gardens and 3 large communal areas. There is also parking for 2 cars and a visitor parking bay. Spittal sits just outside the market town of Wigton which is about a 15 min walk
Red Stables is the ideal location for a peaceful long weekend getaway for you and your partner. Because of Covid-19 we're making it available for bookings between Friday and Tuesday (minimum 3 nights). This means there's at least 72 hours between bookings for added peace of mind for guests and staff. Red Stables was converted from old farm buildings into a lovely holiday cottage that is comfortable, warm and cosy.
