Redwood Sanctuary Oakland Hills

Redwood Sanctuary is located in the idyllic Oakland Hills with beautiful vistas, hikes, and parks within a short drive. The home is situated on half an acre of land in the middle of redwood, eucalyptus, and oak trees secluded away from other homes. Montclair village is an 8 minute drive, providing lots of great food and shops. Minutes from Highway 13 and 580. It is a 1 bedroom studio with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. It can comfortably accommodate up to 3. We'd love to host your stay!

Serene private back yard cottage in Alameda

Serene, private free-standing cottage in our back yard converted into a studio efficiency apartment with King bed, 1 full bath, 2 sinks, microwave, dorm fridge, coffee maker and more! Alameda is a beautiful historic Island city located across the bay from San Francisco. The cottage is in the rear of our property inside locked security gate. Plenty of residential parking, no stairs, .2 mile to bus, .7 mile to BART, minutes to beach, shopping, restaurants, ferry. FYI: one step at front entrance

The Redwood Retreat

Near Lake Temescal, Redwd Regional Prk, Bart, Hwy 13, Rockridge,Montclair, Dwntwn. We completely remodeled our guest house with a focus on short term tenants. Lots of storage within one of the most quite settings you will find. We made a thoughtful attempt to load the unit with everything u might need while away. The kitchen is functional to the point that you could actually cook a Thanksgiving dinner, multiple frying pans to crock pots a blender or chefs knives. Bathroom sundries abound!

Cute, backyard Cottage w/ close access to all!

Great space for a lovely trip to the Bay Area! Located in a very safe & quiet neighborhood of Alameda. The cottage has a private bathroom with shower (no tub), a kitchenette with microwave, and the most comfortable queen bed. Close to Oakland Coliseum, BART, SF, Oakland Airport, and ferry to SF. Great access to Bay Farm Trail and just a short walk to restaurants and shopping. ** Please note that the bed is against the wall, so if you are a group of two, one person will be against the wall.

Cozy Watertower by Beach and Transit

This 100-year old water tower in our backyard supplied water to beach cottages on our street. It's been renovated into a tiny home, mostly using reused or upcycled materials. We're happy to share it with guests looking for a quiet & unique place to stay in the Bay Area. It has its own entrance, private courtyard and is located one block from the beach, pinball museum, transit, farmers market, coffee shops & restaurants. You’ll love it because it's quaint and conveniently located.

Private, Detached, Urban Creekside Studio.

This unique, well equipped, 1 Bed cute little studio (that we love) is detached and fenced off from our main house. It has a separate entrance through a side gate and it's own private rear deck, with a seating and dining area... that overlooks Sausal Creek and Dimond Park. The tall willow that grows along the creek gives the deck the perfect amount of privacy and with the tranquil sound of the creek flowing (not during dry season) you would almost forget you are in an urban city.

Alameda Zen Cottage

This private zen cottage, is conveniently located near major ferry service, train,and bus lines to San Francisco and other cities surrounding Alameda. The cottage offers a outdoor private court yard area. Inside the cottage you will find a desk, living room area , queen size bed with cozy bedding, a kitchenette area with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, with complimentary tea, coffee and creamer, and last but not least the bathroom with a toilet and shower.

Painting Studio in the Trees

Located halfway up the steep Berkeley hillside in a quiet residential area. The space has amazing natural light with 4 skylights and garden facing windows. There is a patio deck with table and chairs to enjoy meals outdoors. Previously an art studio, now a simple detached cottage at the entrance of our property. Rustic Cottage *****Hiking & Biking

The place is nestled in a garden setting . The cottage is stand alone and is not shared . The bathroom is detached, just a few steps away, through the garden, and shared with a very quiet and clean tenant, it is sparkling clean. The trails start just across the street and are fantastic, spreading over 800 acres of parkland. You will enjoy the quiet, peaceful and remote setting. We do have WiFi ;)
