A lofted 1 bedroom with King bed, living room, small kitchen and fair size shower bathroom. Interior in native spruce log and plank. A covered deck of 262sqft with private hot tub. This is a stand alone structure about 35ft from main house. Completion date was May20th starting operations 05/25/2022 thru Oct 15th. Photos are very current with grass and rock designs for a fully fenced yard. This cabin is very classy rustic appeal. Wood works are from bettle kill Alaska spruce. Tim & I. built it.ll

Borealis Barnhouse - Slumber Village #7

Built in 1946, this cottage has rustic décor with contemporary amenities, every corner of this home is crafted for your comfort. Fast Wi-Fi for those who need to do zoom calls while visiting. Kitchen has stove, microwave, fridge, oven and plenty of space for longer term stays. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Super comfy mattress and a sleeper sofa for extra travelers. Access to the cottage is via keypad so all hours locked access is available for travelers coming in late.

Hope H.U.B. Have. U. Been?

The beautiful community of Hope is a two hour drive from Anchorage. Hope HUB offers summer and winter trails for hiking, biking and skiing. PILOTS: the runway is a 10 minute walk, tie down the saucer and ride our community beater bikes into town for food and music. The Hope HUB has great views of the surrounding mountains on both sides. Use our outdoor fire pit, stocked with wood. Meet Wally our resident walrus and enjoy a truly extraterrestrial experience.

You will love this quiet cabin surrounded by trees. It’s a great base to explore all that this part of Alaska has to offer. Only 3/4 mile to Alyeska ski resort. Tons of hiking and biking nearby. A short drive will take you to Anchorage, Turnagain Arm, Whittier, or Portage Glacier. Seward is close enough for a day trip for a fishing charter, a wildlife cruise, or a hike at Exit Glacier. After each day’s adventures, come home to this warm and inviting space.

Maximum of 4 (with extra guest fees). * There is 1 Outdoor Security Camera on the garage of the Main Home for safety Treed property, very quiet neighborhood, wildlife: moose, bears, lynx Kitchen, Laundry washer dryer 1 bathroom with shower. 1 Cozy Bedroom with full bed. Futon converts in to full bed. BBQ , patio furniture Great base location for exploring South Central Alaska.
