This newly renovated unit boasts unobstructed views across Newcastle’s working harbor and the beautiful Ballast grounds. Includes Queen-sized bed and ensuite, with shampoo, conditioner and all linen provided. Fully equipped kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities, toaster oven, hot plate, frypan, saucepan, sandwich maker and microwave. The lounge room has reverse-cycle air-conditioning, a double leather recliner lounge and a 42-inch LCD TV. Complimentary continental breakfast included.

Only house trained "smallish" dogs allowed with own bedding. NO dogs on beds or lounges. NO dogs to be left alone inside unattended. NO electric scooters allowed!!

Please be aware your luggage needs to be carried from your car park at the top of the hill, down approximately a 100m grassed hill, then back up again. Our family getaway is walking distance to the village centre (with a grocery store, family-style restaurants and the local pub) and a quick car ride away from Birubi and One Mile Beach. At home you can spend time by the pool, relax in the outdoor entertaining space, sleep in quality beds and cook with everything you need for a delicious feast. Our place is good for couples, families (with kids), small groups up to 9 people, and furry friends (pets).

A tree change and sea change all in one. Medowie is the place of tall trees and is only a 30 minute drive from picturesque Nelson Bay. Newcastle airport is a 10 minute drive away and Newcastle city is only a 40 minute drive or a 5 minute ferry ride from the Stockton ferry terminal. A great way to avoid the drive into town, the ferry terminal is a short 20 minute drive from Medowie and Stockton beach is also a great place for beach activities.

Great base for exploring the Hunter vineyards, attending concerts, bushwalking or just relaxing and watching cows wander past.

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). The property has been our family holiday home for many years. The kitchen is very well equipped for big family dinners. We are not big on electronic entertainment , only an amazing view to keep you occupied! The property is older style which is reflected in the price. Our first floor apartment is very spacious and comfortable .
