Cozy Cottage with stunning countryside views

Our cottage is a cosy little retreat with many of its original features. It has been sympathetically restored although it now includes current amenities. Guests can avail of fast WiFi allowing them to stay connected with social media/emails or to relax in front of the wood burning stove with a movie on Netflix. The cottage has an enclosed terrace to the rear of the property with lovely rural views and a covered seating area with fire pit & bbq to the front with super views and private parking .

Built in 1791 as a working Watermill our cottage is uniquely located on the Ballylinney River, just off the Larne Line route to the Giants Causeway. It has many original features such a vaulted ceiling, oak beams, thick solid stone walls, and original stone waterwheel well. Few cottages offer such unique features as their own little bridge which leads to the front door, a private rivers edge garden, sound of the river flowing past your windows, and olde world charm combines with modern luxuries

Just some 7 miles from Belfast City Centre with its shops and vibrant nightlife, and 3 miles from Carrickfergus with its magnificent Norman Castle, pubs and restaurants and gateway to the beautiful scenic drive to the Antrim Glens and beyond. Your hosts are mere steps away but cottage is detached and you will enjoy the place entirely to yourselves.

Relax in this comfortable NI Tourism certified cottage in the village of Kells. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a home away from home. There is a generous king-size bed in the master, and twin beds in the second bedroom. The functioning kitchen means you can eat in, or you could visit the restaurant or fast food outlets in the village. The owners live locally, and are on hand to help with any queries. Sorry, the property is not available for pets at this time.

Orchard Lodge

We have comfortable mattresses to ensure that you have a good nights sleep and our bedding is always crisp and fresh. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer and a washing machine. There are ample pots and pans, and plenty of cutlery, crockery and glassware. The living room has a cosy sofa and a large flat screen TV . We provide a coffee table, and a dining area.There is free high speed wifi. Our lovely clean bathroom has a hot shower.

The Gate Lodge is located within the grounds of our 1700s farmhouse, Kildrum Cottage, just outside the historic twin villages of Kells and Connor, County Antrim. While it is situated in a semi-rural area, it is only 4 miles to the nearest major towns. This makes it a central location for visiting the North Coast, the Glens of Antrim and Belfast tourist attractions, all only 25 minutes drive. Relax in this calm, stylish and family friendly space.
