Coastal bolt-hole on a working farm perched on the Hartland Peninsula. The small barn is situated in the farmhouse courtyard garden next to the main house. Enclosed garden and entrance gate. Rural, rustic, stylish and definitely romantic, this bijou 400 yr old converted granary oozes charm and comfort: Driftwood bed, fully equipped little kitchen, woodburner, rolltop bath with shower attachment (no standing shower cubicle), sofa, dining area, TV, selection of interesting games, includes all linen, towels, welcome goodies. Puffins Nest is situated within the walled garden of the main farmhouse and only 50 yards from the stunning south west coast path. Pubs, restaurants and a variety of shops and galleries within 3 miles. Cliff walk (45mins) to local pub. Paradise for surfers, walkers, cyclists, nature lovers and those enjoying unspoilt wild coastlines and deserted beaches. Nearest bus stop 3 miles (collection/transfer service available). The cottage has been fully modernised and combines traditional character with modern facilities. Clare Cottage is set in the heart of the peaceful Devon village Georgeham near to a trickling stream. With its pretty white washed exterior and walled cottage garden the house sits to the side of the historic 13th century St George Church. Putsborough beach a 2 mile stretch of sand is a 1.4 mile drive down a country lane or a 25 minute walk across fields. Croyde village is 1.6 miles drive The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving fine pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.

18th century fishing cottage on the water's edge

Dummett Cottage is a Grade 2 listed 3 bedroom fishing cottage with an incredible garden backing directly onto the Taw-Torridge estuary. Sit on the patio and watch beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic as fishing boats and yachts sail by. Set on one of Appledore's oldest streets, and dating from around 1700, Dummett Cottage is one of the original houses built in Appledore. From the inglenook fireplace to the exposed beams and arches, this cottage is full of character and history.
