Argyll retreat in historic glen

Relax with family or friends at this peaceful place to stay based in the centre of historic Argyll, 5 minutes from the museum and an easy walk to the hotel and bar. Our house was built in 1849 and has a modern kitchen but still retains a lot character including a cozy log fire in the spacious living room. The garden is south facing with an outdoor area for eating or just relaxing. We are perfectly located to explore many ancient monuments as well as the picturesque Argyll coast and beyond.

Ederline Farm Cottage on a private estate.

Ederline Farm Cottage was completed in the spring of 2022 and we ran the property as a Guest House but we are now opening this property as luxury self catering cottage. So all the rooms have smart TVs and en-suite shower rooms. Luxury top of the range Simba mattresses with hand-made bed heads. All beds can be split from a super-king in each room to a twin. The cottage is set on a private Estate on the farm with far reaching views across the fields to Loch Ederline just off the coastal road.

The Bothy Suite by Temple Wood

The Bothy Suite is in the 'hidden village' of Slockavullin , delightfully rural but only 1 mile from the village of Kilmartin with Pub, museum and cafe. Temple Wood and the standing stones are in walking distance with the Crinan Canal a short drive or cycle. The guest accommodation does have a seperate entrance and the whole of the ground floor is for guest use with 2 double bedrooms and modern bathroom consisting of double width shower, sink and toilet. Breakfast is continental.

Stronefield Cottage

Completed in 2007 comprising 4 double/twin bedrooms sleeping 8/9, 9th being a cot for a baby. There is one family bathroom and one toilet and shower room, a large kitchen and dining area leading out onto decking, utility room and spacious upstairs lounge with wonderful views. Close to great restaurants/amenities. Large garden, although is not fully enclosed/fenced off. Flexible refunds and change of bookings permitted in the result of Covid 19 restrictions.

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. A beautiful one-bedroom private traditional stone cottage, The Steading is a self-contained cottage just across the courtyard from our main house. It benefits from a lovely setting amongst the Scottish countryside with glorious views across Loch Fyne, and has many unique features. There is ample private parking directly outside the cottage (spaces for two cars with extra parking if required) and you are free to enjoy the fields and open spaces around you.

Dunans Cottage

Dunans Cottage is situated in the beautiful Knapdale Forest 1.9 miles from Cairnbaan within a National Scenic Area. The views are fantastic! The Cottage is off the beaten track but within a traditional farming hamlet with access via a forestry track ( see illustrated map ). Many outdoor and indoor activities are available within the area but the peace and quiet at Dunans are unique.
