From the door step you will discover a wealth of country walks and cycle trails for all abilities to enjoy in the magnificent surroundings of the Peak District. An area of outstanding natural beauty, close to Ashbourne, within easy reach of Bakewell, Buxton, and for a fun filled day out, Alton Towers. Excellent Pub 5 mins walk away!

The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this brand new converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Based in the Gateway to the magnificent Peak District we are offering our freshly renovated lodge style annex guest house. Only 5 Min drive from the beautiful market town of Ashbourne we have everything here from relaxation and peaceful breaks to white knuckle Theme parks like Alton Towers or maybe for those ramblers out there we have the best of the best within a 20 minutes drive, or peaceful woodlands and rolling hills at the end of our private driveway. Pretty Victorian riverside cottage, Alstonefield

Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.

Lots of great tourist attractions such as scenic Dovedale are within a short car journey. The property is old and retains many original features adding to its character. The stairs and layout do not suit children under 10 or people with mobility issues. The flat is very spacious and easily sleeps 4 with a separate kitchen diner, lounge and compact bathroom.
