Welcome to Frog Stomp. It's a private guest house nestled in the woods. We affectionately call it Frog Stomp because our neighbors have a pond and during the summer there are hundreds of baby tadpoles that are make their way around the guesthouse. So if you are scared of little tiny frogs, this is not the place for you.🐸Frog Stomp is 1BR 1BA. It has a kitchen with fridge, stove, and kurieg coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower. This home offers a kitchen with a coffee bar and wine cooler, interior/exterior TV, spacious walk-in shower and claw foot tub. We also offer boat and RV utility hook ups. Enjoy a wide variety of eating and entertainment 10-15 minutes away.

Madison home without Madison congestion, just a hop from Huntsville. Under 10 minutes to BridgeStreet, Research Park, Town Madison (Trash Pandas), Space&Rocket Center, Mid City (Orion Amphitheater), HSV Airport and more. 2 beds, 2 baths and a couch offer space for up to 4 guests. We cannot accomodate early check-in or late check-out. Please know check-in starts at 3p, check-out is a firm 10a, no exceptions. Up to 4 guests allowed, no more. Book for the appropriate # of guests in your party.

Magical Mountain Retreat with Vintage Charm

Our second home is a mix of mid-century modern and "cabin in the woods." It sits on 2 heavily wooded acres and backs up to a mountainside with rock outcroppings. The main living area (living room, dining area, and kitchen) is raised about 4 steps, and the bedroom and bath areas are on the main level. There is one large bathroom with a shower. There is an electric fireplace surrounded by ledge stone in front of the u-shaped built-in sofa. There is abundant reading material & 2 TV's.

The window views are peaceful and this house has its own large yard, a grill and chill patio, and the cutest little miniature horses and donkey just next door at the Superhost's house. Dogs only. Located east of Athens/ 10 -12 minute drive to I-65 and Hwy 72/ 15 minute drive to Madison/30 minutes to Huntsville/Extra parking available.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Freshly painted, newly renovated, and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping! Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.
