Les attractions locales comprennent également les châteaux de Fontainebleau et Vaux-le-Vicomte, les villages pittoresques (Barbizon, Moret, Samois, Bourron...), la cité médiévale de Provins, les sentiers de randonnée en forêt et les sites d'escalade (un crash pad est à votre disposition), les activités sur la Seine et le Loing. La gare de Thomery, à 20 min à pied, permet de rejoindre Paris en 45 min.

This old fisherman's house has been transformed into a charming 3-star gîte and welcomes you all year round in one of the most beautiful corners of the Ile de France, between the Seine and Loing rivers and the magnificent forest of Fontainebleau and its rock-climbing sites. The house is an ideal starting point to discover Fontainebleau, Moret-sur-Loing and Saint-Mammès, Milly-la-foret and Barbizon. The Scandiberique (Eurovelo 3) passes right in front of the house!

June/July/August 5 days minimum. Our recently fully renovated cottage is set in the middle of a large garden on the edge of the pretty village of Montigny sur Loing. A peaceful rural hideaway on the edge of the 25000 hectare Fontainebleau forest famous for its boulders. Shops 5 min. walk. The train station with direct trains to Paris Gare de Lyon every hour is a 10 min. walk away. 2.50€ a ride. Free parking at station. 55 min. train ride to the heart of Paris.

Facing the Forest It includes a bedroom with a double bed, a comfortable sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, oven, refrigerator), and a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. The private garden awaits you for relaxing moments: barbecue, dining area, sun loungers, games, books, and a TV with Netflix.
