Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

Mister Hare's Cottage - beautiful Lakeland cottage

A stunning 200 year-old cottage located in the charming small village of Bouth in the Lake District, now a UNESCO world heritage region. Situated on a quiet country road and bounded on two sides by open fields, with grazing shire horses and Jersey cows, this is the idyllic country retreat. The cottage has been renovated to the highest standard whilst retaining all the charm of its period. The traditional village pub is a few metres away. Breathtaking natural scenery awaits you from the doorway.

Granary Cottage has a EV charger for vehicle charging. Vehicle charging is charged at 50p per kwh unit. The dining room has great views with a pair of French doors in to the living room which has a large double sofa bed & another pair of doors in to the garden. La'al Yam is a delightful cosy cottage with wonderful views and full of charm. It is surrounded by gardens full of wildlife. A place for rest and relaxation, where you can completely unwind. It is the East wing of Hylands, decorated in sympathy with Arts and Crafts principles. Quality finishes and materials throughout, using local suppliers and crafts people. It is 12 minutes walk from Kendal's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the 'Rifleman's Arms'.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

Waterside house is an ancient farmhouse which sits in a large garden surrounded by fields and woodland, it has belonged to the Finsthwaite estate since it was build in 1580 . Its historical character is shown in the large fireplace and the beams, which add to the charm. Waterside is known as the home of the “Finsthwaite Princess”. who was the alleged illegitimate daughter of Bonnie Prince Charlie. She lived in three rooms on the first floor which were panelled out of scotch pine for her.
