Stay at the Lake View Lodge and wake up to fantastic views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop every morning. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers. Enjoy a large 45 square meter space with king sized bed, double sofa bed, shower room and kitchenette. Ideally suited for up to two adults and two children or three adults.

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The Bothy - secluded in The Lake District

The Bothy at Cowmire Hall is a delightful, first-floor converted farm building, consisting of a hall, large living-room/kitchen open to the roof, a shower-room and double bedroom. There is also a gallery or sleeping-platform above the kitchen area which can be accessed via a wall ladder (see photos) from the living room, with two single beds and also a sofa bed in the living room.

Nan’s Cottage, South Lakeland District

Gorgeous former Miller’s cottage set within the peaceful village. Just South of Coniston Water. Family & dog friendly. Outdoor seating area with large lawn which boasts the River Crake at the bottom. (Supervision for small children needed when by the river). Fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and aga wood burner.
