Bigpine - adventure in the wild Seklerland

In the heart of the wild and romantic Székelyvarság (Vărșag) there is the Bigpine guesthouse, where in the mornings the squirrels, deers play and you can feel the pure energies of nature. Úgy fújni le a port a régiről, hogy az ne a műanyag csillogás múló divatja felé szálljon, de túlságosan a múltba se ragadjon, giccsesen nosztalgiázva.

The property has two Szekler wooden houses, over 100 years old each, completely “reborn”. We offer one of them for guests who appreciate built heritage, nice panorama and organic garden. We tried to preserve folk heritage, adding a vintage touch and using colorful home accessories to offer a warm and homey atmosphere. It is a suitable for a familiy sharing a room, a couple or a single traveller that appreciates authenticity. In April & October, this house is heated like in the old days, with a terracotta heater. House facilities: 1 room with 2 Saxon beds (4 sleeping places) and own bathroom, parking space, yard. Children aged 3-12 pay half of the price.
