The Uintah Basin provides many opportunities for day recreation at nearby Steinaker Reservoir and Red Fleet State Park, and Flaming Gorge is under an hour away. The patio and large yard provide ample space for play. There is also RV parking and hookups out back. Come play in Dinosaurland!

Hitching Post

The Hitching Post is a private 2 bedroom barn house is the perfect place to kick off your boots and enjoy our porch swing or take a relaxing bath in the deep soaker tub. Private entrance. Conveniently located near the Rod and Gun Club, recreational trails, lakes, and more. We also offer horse stalls. THIS IS A NON PET PROPERTY. We offer other units for service animals - but we are trying to keep this completely pet free for guests with allergies.

Quiet residential neighboorhood. Situated in downtown Vernal. Both on and off street parking. Two large shade trees in the fully fenced back yard. Old fashioned tire swing. Covered patio with table and chairs. Two chain link dog kennels. A new furnace and central air conditioning unit were installed. The basement stays comfortably cool as most basements do. New mattresses were placed on all six beds on April 1, 2023.

The Cottage - 1Bedroom/2Bed -Sleeps Four

A small, cozy cottage located one block away from the heart of downtown Vernal. The space is decorated with comfortable modern furnishing with a slight retro touch. This space would be perfect for a couple, small family or group of four. Inside you’ll find all the essentials you’ll need for a comfortable stay and in the backyard there is a barbecue and seating area, perfect for an enjoyable summer evening.

Downtown Hideout

Your group will love being within 2 blocks of Western Park, Uintah Conference Center, and the ice rink. Walk another 3 blocks to local breweries and resturants. Our house is equipped with a full kitchen and everything needed to cook a meal if you choose. Comfy queen size beds in both bedrooms. 42" roku TV in the living room. Living room couch can accommodate 1 more guest.
