We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

The Lodge @ Hushabye Farm

A beautifully renovated stone cottage on an idyllic Alpaca farm, in the foothill of the Slieve Bloom mountains. This 2 bedroom oasis has the romance of an old cottage, combined with a modern comfortable finish that will leave you wanting to stay for longer. Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

Lime Kiln Self Catering Cottage

Relax with the whole family at our peaceful country cottage. Lime Kiln Cottage is nestled in the midst of the picturesque Irish countryside, surrounded by lush green fields, rolling hills and stunning views. Conveniently Located just 15 minutes from the heritage town of Birr and just1.5 hours from Dublin and 1 hour from Galway, our cottage is perfect for exploring all of Ireland's hidden heartland has to offer including the stunning River Shannon.

Surrounded by fields, trees there's plenty to do for an outdoor break. Slieve Bloom Bike trails and hiking tracks all within minutes. Portlaoise, Tullamore and Roscrea 30 minute drive. Kilkenny under an hour. Ideal base for biking or walking groups to explore the area. Great location base for touring Ireland.

We are happy to welcome you to stay at our bright comfortable self catering apartment conveniently located in the midlands. Situated 2 min from Exit 23 off the M7 Motorway on the outskirts of the village of Moneygall where the pub and shop are within walking distance. It provides a wonderful base for exploring the heart of the country while also allowing further journeys to some iconic tourist sites.

Gurteen Cottage, Glenbarrow, Slieve Bloom Mountain

Rural setting at the bottom of the Slieve Blooms in Rosenallis, this cottage provides an ideal escape to the country. This self catering property is 5 mins from nearest town. Beautiful views.
