Our 200 year old spacious one bed cottage offers all mod coms, including king size bed with 100% eco bedding. The modern bathroom offers combined bath/shower. The kitchen is well equipped and leads out to an outdoor balcony with views. The cosy living room offers plenty of seating, Smart TV and a fire.

Torside is the closest dwelling to Peak Cavern in the stunning and 'other worldly' Peak Cavern Gorge. The Gorge is a SSSI and one of the Seven Wonders of the Peak. A further three renowned show caverns, 7 pubs, cafes and shops are within walking distance. The scenery is dramatic and ever changing as the weather rolls in over Mam Tor from the West. Temperature inversions create outstanding conditions for photography. The cottage is vernacular and decorated to English Heritage standards.

The Nook - an idyllic rural bolt hole...

A sleeps two, barn conversion with original beams. The Nook is located at Back Tor Farm in the Edale Valley. We welcome all enquiries of three nights or more but do prefer Friday changeover dates. It is an essential part of our hosting terms that the person responsible for booking our property makes their full name and mobile number available to us in the Airbnb booking process. 3rd Party bookings are not acceptable. The ground floor of our long cottage is a completely self-contained holiday let, lovingly restored it retains many of the original features - wooden beams, curvy walls and a log burner in a huge fire place. Views from the front of the cottage show you the incredible walking, running, biking and paragliding to be had from the doorstep. Castleton has it all, pubs, cafes and caves! Our quiet location out of the busy hub gives you the best of both worlds

Kingfisher Cottage

Kingfisher Cottage is attached to Bridge House, situated in the Peak District village of Bamford and benefits from a beautiful view of the River Derwent. The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
