Welcome to Chapel House Mews. This lovely mews cottage sleeps two people in comfort. The cottage has a pretty garden, shared with the resident chickens. A peaceful retreat for couples looking to enjoy the Lakes, fells and outdoor pursuits. Skiddaw provides an inspiring backdrop to the village and you can find some of the best ways to climb it from the door. Keswick and Cockermouth are nearby and it's a short walk to the local pub, which has a welcoming atmosphere, great menu and is dog friendly.

This wonderfully equipped 6 bedroom Victorian terraced house with stunning original features is located a stones throw from the top of Bassenthwaite lake in the Lake District with beautiful views over Sale Fell. It’s perfect for families looking for great access to the Lake District. It’s a short walk to the famous Pheasant Inn, across the road from Bassenthwaite lake and the Sailing Club and a short drive to the Lakes Distillery. Please note that we do not accept large adult only groups.

Lovely self contained apartment, private entrance, key pad access. Large en-suite king-size room with vaulted ceiling, relaxing chairs for reading, fluffy towels, robes and luxury products. Beautiful garden with BBQ/wood burning-stove. Bassenthwaite Lake is short walk and The Royal Oak pub is in the next village (Braithwaite) just over 1 mile away. The X5 bus runs past the door to Cockermouth, Workington to the west and to Keswick via Braithwaite (the pub). Great reviews and superhost.

Our luxury detached Lakeland cottage in the village of Lorton sits in a hidden gem of a valley and is a year round destination . Two beautiful bedrooms one of which can turn into single beds and each with their own bathrooms offers flexibility for both couples and families. We have a well equipped cooks kitchen with Everhot range and a stocked larder. Parking for three cars , EV charger , bike storage , gardens and a BBQ this is a great base to enjoy the magic of our Lakeland valley.

Beck View, a cosy apartment, Thornthwaite Keswick

A modern self-contained, dog-friendly apartment tucked away in the village of Thornthwaite, just a 5 minute drive from Keswick, with a terrace overlooking Comb Beck We can host 2 adults, a sofa-bed for up to 2 more, and up to 2 dogs Situated at the foot of Whinlatter Forest and the Michelin Starred restaurant The Cottage In The Wood; walk straight from the house onto the hills or sit back in our garden, enjoy the sounds of the birds and the waterfall and watch out for red squirrels

Listed 17th Century Lake District Farmhouse.

Set within extensive gardens, in a tranquil rural hamlet, in the quieter NW corner of the Lake District National Park. Quiet, yet easily accessible by road and rail (9 miles) and within walking distance of the local pub. It is equidistant between the towns of Keswick, Cockermouth and Wigton. The nearest Wainwright (Binsey) is walkable from the front door. The house is 4/5 bedrooms, has a large family dining table, 3 lounges, each with stoves (one convertible to a bedroom).

The Barn at Mireside. An idyllic location.

Set in meadows close to Bassenthwaite Lake The Barn at Mireside was converted in 2016 to a high standard and enjoys the comfort of underfloor heating, two bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. Downstairs is open plan with a well equipped kitchen, a wood burner and large glazed window overlooking the cobbled yard. Outside there is a large garden, a sheltered seating area perfect for the afternoon sun, ample parking and a barn for storing bikes and other equipment.

Hovel House Shed

The Shed has been custom built, in the paddock, near my small barn conversion. It has a homely atmosphere, with vintage furnishings and up-cycled items. Where possible I’ve tried to be eco friendly. This is a quiet, tranquil place with beautiful views of the Scottish hills beyond the Solway Firth. It’s part of a small hamlet and my former family farm. Animals are often kept in the fields next to The Shed. You’ll experience stunning sunsets and starry skies.
