Within a 4 mile drive you can be in the popular village of Bamburgh where you can enjoy the unspoilt beach or have a walk around Bamburgh Castle. This beautifully presented, semi-detached dog friendly holiday cottage is in an excellent position to visit all the places, scenery and activities Northumberland has to offer. the cottage is sat in between Newcastle and Edinburgh. The friendly small village of Belford/Chatton are around 4 miles away, where there are local facilities including a Co-op, local store, pubs and restaurants.

The Byre. Cosy, eco friendly barn camping.

The Byre is a delightful upcycled 19th century listed cow byre on an old farm. The room looks out on to the farm courtyard. There is a large garden for visitors use, and dark skies above us. We are an eco friendly family, and the Byre comes with a private composting toilet in a separate wooden shed, and a water supply just outside.Think of it as cosy camping in a stone tent.
