Public transport is a 2 min walk to the end of street if you do not have your own transport. Off street parking is available to you also. Nestled in a peaceful rainforest setting, amongst the majestic paperbark trees you will find THE SPA SUITE, Palm Cove. Just a 30 second stroll, 50 meters to idyllic Palm Cove beach and restaurants. Kuranda, home to the Indigenous Djabugay people is tucked away within an ancient Rainforest. Jum Rum Place is located only 1.6km from the Kuranda village, North Queensland backing onto Jum Rum Creek Conservation Park where there are numerous species of birds, Striped possums, Suger Gliders, Pademelons with abundance of butterflies including the Ulysses and Cairns Bird Wing. The beautiful Jum Rum Creek Walking Track is close by which takes you into the Kuranda Village, only a 15 minute walk.

Our serene abode is a 5 min drive or a pleasant 30-40 min stroll to the picturesque village of Kuranda and the mighty Barron Falls. Your private quarters contain a kitchenette, bathroom and sizeable comfortable bedroom. On the deck you can sit peacefully, relax and observe the native wildlife; red-legged pademelons, brush turkeys and small reptiles. You will be delighted with the chorus of bird song and take great pleasure in sighting vibrantly colourful tropical birdlife and butterflies.

A spacious hotel-style studio room at Ramada Resort. The studio is self-serviced, with some kitchen facilities (kettle, Nespresso machine, microwave, fridge), and a large bathroom. The studio has its own FREE wifi. The room is in a great location within the resort, which has a lush rainforest atmosphere, and a wonderful pool. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Please note that Ramada is at the quiet end of Port Douglas - it is about 10 minutes to the town centre by car or shuttle bus.
