Enjoy the whole top floor with open plan lounge/kitchen and historical bookcases. Bedroom with roll top bath, king size bed, ensuite bathroom. It's a fabulous space! South facing rustic stone built barn conversion for 4 people close to Acomb village within the Dark Sky National Park. A private garden from which to enjoy stunning views and stargaze. Hadrian's Wall, Hexham market town, country walks, cycle routes and village pubs all a stones throw from the doorstep. The Michelin Star restaurant,Pines is 10 mins away. Lovely flat, secluded and overlooking river Tyne

Chollerton House is located in the hamlet of Chollerton and is set in its own grounds overlooking the river North Tyne which is just a hundred yards away across our own paddock. The flat is located on the first floor, affording lovely views on all sides, and has its own seperate access, assuring complete privacy. Chollerton lies only one mile north of the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall and the flat provides a charming and secluded base from which to explore beautiful Northumberland.

The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. Wifi. A good place for couples and solo adventurers. Matfen hall and Vallum 5 miles or so away if you are coming to a wedding

Farmhouse annex in Northumberland village

The Old Farmhouse is a period property in the village of Slaley. A separate annex offers guests a sitting room with wood burning stove and a large family bedroom. A separate kitchen provides full electric oven with induction hob, fridge, microwave, and a washing machine. The Rose and Crown, is a community pub/restaurant located in the village and there is also a small community shop. It is only 1 mile to Slaley Hall with its excellent restaurant, leisure facilities and golf course.

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.
