Come and create memories in our 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Mountain home on the road to Crested Butte. We are on 60 acres between the West Elk Wilderness and the Gunnison National Forest next to Antracite Creek. (There are only 2 neighbors within 2 miles.) You can choose between mountain biking, hiking, fishing, hunting, wildflowers, fall colors, visiting wineries, paddle boarding and jet skiing or just relaxing with the views of Marcellana Mountain from the back porch. Large Vega Lake Colorado Real Log Cabin

Open year round, this spectacular 5300+ sq ft log cabin/lodge is a 1-hr drive from Grand Junction Airport. Nestled in an aspen grove overlooking Vega Lake, the cabin sleeps 17 people (kids included) and parks up to 8 vehicles. Wildlife abounds and the lake is full of trout (some up to 5 lbs). Outdoor equipment is offered free of charge (see list below) to enhance your stay. An expansive covered deck has a propane grill for BBQs and there is an outdoor fire pit for fireside evenings.

We have a home town feel with our place that includes free range chickens that lay easter egg colors and a garden. Sit back and enjoy a rocking chair on the porch with views of Mount Lamborn and Landsend and a glass of wine from any of the more than a dozen wineries in the area. Fruit and vegis can be found at local farmers markets.

Nestled in our elm forest, the casita is a private and tranquil oasis. This home was naturally built with earth based materials. Enjoy the views of our beautiful pond right outside the back deck with your morning coffee and watch the trout jump. Although small, it is completely equipped with a full kitchen, bathroom, instant hot water, and laundry. Paonia is a short two minute drive, 5 minute bike ride, or 15 minute walk away. Our small studio-style Aspen cabin is ideal for one or two people. It has a small kitchen fully furnished with stove, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, etc. The cabin has a queen bed, dresser, and small dining table and 2 chairs. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity with sink. Outside is a small porch sitting area with a table and chairs. This cabin has WIFI and ROKU TV.
