Celebrating 100yrs 1926-2026. A charming 1920s mountain cottage. Girrawheen is bathed in northern light & all rooms have views to the delightful seasonal garden. Both spacious and cosy, it provides a wonderful place to relax. Close to Govetts Leap, bushwalks and an easy stroll to the village. There are three bedrooms (max 6 pers) & three bathrooms. Wildlife on your doorstep, including birds, kangaroos and small marsupials. 20 minutes drive from Katoomba, 7 minutes from Blackheath. Access to cafe's, restaurants, Japanese bath house and traditional Finnish sauna.

Rustic mountain studio

The studio is in a lovely garden setting with a 15 minute walk to the village of Blackheath. Daytime bus service is within 50 metres. It is a quiet spot apart from the the abundant birdlife (cockatoos, magpies, crimson rosellas, kookaburras) at dusk and dawn. Entrance to Blue Mountains National Park is a couple of kilometres further down the road with easy hike to Perry's Lookdown and Anvil Rock. There is a comfortable queen bed with a small kitchenette.

Just 15 minutes from Blackheath, (and only accessible from Blackheath) the cottage is totally self contained, with a wood stove and BBQ facilities. A unique rural escape for nature lovers.

Located just around the corner from The Grand Canyon Loop Walk and Walls Cave, Bower Cottage is a delightful spot for two. Quiet and on the edge of town, this property with it’s main house and two private accommodations, is an acre and a quarter and was originally farmland and the produce store for Blackheath. Away from the hustle and bustle, but only five minutes to town, it's a place to help you rest, explore and reconnect.
