Our cottage is situated directly on the Five Pits Trail, which provides miles of trails for walkers, bike and horse riders, there are also fishing ponds 500m along the trail. It's a beautiful character cottage newly renovated to a high standard. It is ideally situated, with Hardwick Hall 5 minutes drive away and the Peak District on our doorstep. Matlock, Crich Tramway Village, Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall within half an hour. We also have a hottub for you to relax in at the end of your day.

The Spinney is our super dog-friendly ground floor self-catering accommodation! We've designed it so that you & your dog have a great holiday! Part of a traditional stone barn conversion located in the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales, the Spinney offers space as well as the comfort of modern living. It's is very close to Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park, Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House, historic Edwinstowe and a great number of other local beauty spots. It is very private with its own fully fenced garden for the security of your pet should you wish to bring a well behaved dog. A great short break destination surrounded by some beautiful walking and cycling routes including Route 6 and Sherwood Pines

The perfect place to enjoy a home from home getaway; self check in, full kitchen, glorious large bathroom space with bath and waterfall shower, comfy lounge area with large TV, extremely spacious cosy king bedroom and front and rear enclosed patio areas for your four legged friends!

The Kennels

Kick off your walking boots, wash down your bike or just park up the car, this freshly converted kennels is the place to relax for a few days. Peaceful and away from it all but close enough to explore the beauty of the Peak District and Chatsworth House. Matlock is a couple of miles away with restaurants, shops and amenities. You can start exploring from the door step; we can help with guides, directions and recommendations. The room can be configured as a luxury Super King or twin beds.

Lane End Cottage - cosy cottage with large garden.

16th century cosy stone cottage with large private garden, includes lounge, kitchen and separate dining room. Pretty sun room ideal for morning coffees. Two bedrooms, one twin, and one king size. Shower and toilet upstairs. Bed settee is in the dining room. Will easily sleep 6 but seating is limited in the lounge. The main bath and shower room is downstairs. There is a large lawn to the front of the property with off road parking, the rear garden is private and has use of a BBQ in summer.

Exclusive & Beautiful Modern Studio Flat

Located on Green Lane, traffic is busy at peak times of the day, however this private studio is perfect for access to the Peak District. There is a kitchen, a spacious bathroom, pull-down double bed (only a small 4 ft double). The flat is best suited for a single person but if you are in a couple and the bed is ok, then this will suit you. The Peak district is just a short car ride away. Restaurants, supermarkets; train station and buses will take you to Sheffield or chesterfield.

Ideally situated on the Eastern edge of the Peak District making it a great base for adventure and exploration! A spacious house that can accommodate families and groups of up to six people (using sofa bed). Close to Chatsworth House (15 min drive), Matlock Bath, Bakewell, Hathersage and easy walking distance into Chesterfield town centre (20 mins).

Swift Retreat - converted farm building

You can either relax by the fire or head out onto some of the local footpaths or cycle trails. We have several pubs within a 20 minute walk. Matlock is a short drive away and if you fancy going further afield, we are about a 30 minute drive away from the attractions of the Peak District.
