This is a great stopover for people flying from East Midlands airport as it's a mere 10 minute drive, the M1 and M42 motorways can be reached in minutes, it's a central location for cities such as Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and Birmingham, also close to Loughborough which is a great for visiting students. Cyclists can step out of the front door onto the NCN 6 route which leads onto the cloud trail which goes all the way to Derby. Walkers will be spoilt for choice only being minutes away from the famous Bradgate Park, Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold.

The Farmhouse B&B

A stylish self contained studio apartment with plenty of private off road parking, in the beautiful village of Coleorton. With open plan kitchen and living area equipped to cater for up to 4 guests. There is one king size bed and a double sofa bed. If you require the sofa bed for one night ONLY please supply your own bedding/towels for it. More than one night sofa bed bedding/towels will be provided. With idyllic countryside surroundings, this new build is perfect for either business or leisure.

The Mill

Grade II listed former brewery mill with a southfacing private courtyard garden. Rate is for 3 rooms - two doubles and a single (5 guests) - not all four rooms (up to 7). Please contact us if you would also like to book the master room with ensuite and we will confirm a rate. NB: This bathroom is shared by the 3 rooms not ensuite, shower is over the bath. Escape to the South Derbyshire market town of Melbourne with a stay at our cosy 3 bedroom cottage. Surrounded by historic landmarks such as Melbourne Hall, Calke Abbey and Staunton Harold Reservoir. Enjoy morning walks along scenic country trails, afternoon visits to nearby stately homes and evenings relaxing in the cottage or in one of the many local restaurants that are all within a few minutes walk. The cottage has recently been fully refurbished and is decorated to a very high standard.

Charming cosy character cottage tastefully renovated and opened to our first guests in March 2018. Located within a 2 minute walk from the centre of Melbourne, a beautiful georgian market town with a fabulous selection of pubs, restaurants & shops. It has an open plan kitchen, living room with log burner, 2 bedrooms (1 with a king size bed and 1 with a double bed) and a shower room (no bath). Outside there is a shared backyard and to the front of the property there is a shared picnic area.

It is within two minutes' walk of the essential facilities of Melbourne, and only five minutes walk away from the surrounding countryside. The house is spacious, warm and sunny, and opens onto its own attractive and private rear garden. Melbourne is a vibrant little town with plenty of history and culture, offering lots to see and do in the area, and in good walking country.

Newtons Corner is a beautiful and secluded 2-bed Barn Conversion with stunning panoramic country views. Relax in the wood-fired hot tub (with bubble spa) and enjoy the view! A 10 mins walk to the main entrance of Donington Park Race Circuit, this is the ideal luxury stay if attending a racing event. You are welcome to walk in the surrounding woodlands and fields, which belong to your hosts, the Donington Estate. Located minutes from the historic market town of Melbourne, Derbyshire.

A 10 minute walk from Donington Park's main entrance, The Barn is the perfect base for two people (+ your pet, subject to a fee) to stay comfortably. This one-bedroom, well-equipped self-contained barn conversion has kitchen, dining area, en-suite shower, TV/DVD, Wifi, wood burner and lovely garden views. Parking for up to 2 cars / motorbikes available. Please note we are close to East Midlands Airport and Donington Park so noise can be heard from these sites from time to time.
