Historic Schoolhouse Minutes From Jay Peak

After a long day of hiking, biking, or skiing, come take a swing at our charming historical cottage. Dating back to the mid 1800s it was one of the first schoolhouses in the area, today it is filled with all the modern luxuries one would need. Our quaint porch is perfect for bird watching or leaf peeping. The inside includes high ceilings, a bedroom and a cozy loft- both with queen beds. French culture is only a 10 min drive away; Vermont culture is abound with maple syrup and warm locals.

Champlain Cottage

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis on lake Champlain right off interstate I89 on the Canadian border in a private estate with 6 beach accesses throughout, also a boat ramp for fisherman!! ICE fishing as well, (ask me about an ice fishing shanty rental) Very nice quiet neighborhood, watch the beautiful sunsets at the waterfront next to a nice cozy camp fire on the beach or on the deck grilling food and playing corn-hole, great WIFI connection. Bluebird Cottage is located on the St Albans/Swanton town line directly on Lake Champlain on beautiful Maquam Shore. Enjoy our extensive private beach, sunsets from the large deck, shady lake breezes from the patios, large yard for outdoor activities and games complete with fire pit. Close by is the Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge, Alburg Dunes State Park, ski resorts, Burlington for fine dining and nightlife, the famous Lake Champlain Islands, and Canada.

This newly built house is located on our 90 acre property. It is surrounded by an orchard, a vineyard and forest. The quaint and natural setting is perfect for couples, solo travellers or families. Cross country skiing, running and hiking can be practiced on the property. Bromont and Sutton downhill ski slopes are a 35 minutes drive away. Jay Peak, Vermont is 1h15 away by car. The surrounding country roads provide for wonderful bike rides.
