Please note there are resident Cockerpoos on the grounds. We are pet-friendly and welcome well-behaved small dogs (one per stay only). Secure on-site parking for motorbikes.

Only 3 miles away is the historic Market town of Howden with it's great range of shops, cafes and bars. Laxton is an ideal base for exploring East or North Yorkshire.

An period 18th Century cottage with a lovely kitchen, a cosy living room and a comfortable bedroom with a king-size bed. In addition there is a sofa bed in the living room, so this cottage can be occupied by 2-4 guests. The private and prettily planted courtyard has seating and a BBQ. Please note that as this is a period property the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and very steep and would sadly not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Nestled in a secluded corner of a small caravan site, this tent box offers a lakeside view in idyllic surroundings. A perfect stopover for walking the Wolds Way, camping without the hassle of setting up a tent, or even just visiting beautiful East Yorkshire on a budget. If fishing's your thing, you have a peg metres away from the tent and a pond full of carp, tench and roach. Use of a shower and toilets and Kitchen
