Our beautifully converted barn is ideally located in the picturesque village of Ruston. Set within a stunning Grade II listed farmstead, just 50 metres from the edge of the North York Moors National Park & with easy access of coastal walks, beaches & market towns including Whitby, Pickering, Filey, Cayton & Malton. Stylishly & comfortably furnished, the ground floor is roomy & open plan with a wood burner & under floor heating. The mezzanine bedroom has a super comfortable King size bed & bath.

Harwood Cottage is a very cosy self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park set in 150 acres of a private estate. Within the National Park on a working farm this is an ideal location for walking and cycling enthusiasts, or for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors or North East Coast. It is within close driving distance of Scarborough, Whitby and Pickering. Harwood Dale is surrounded by outstanding countryside without being miles away from civilisation.

The Barn is well equipped throughout – fine linens in the bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen (including climate-controlled wine storage). Free wi-fi, a bluetooth sound system and smart TV. Outside is a part-walled, sandstone patio with table and chairs and a large field which you are welcome to access.

Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Dalby and Langdale Forests and nearby moorland from your doorstep. An ideal place for walking and cycling, with many local tracks, footpaths and bridleways, or just relax in the garden and listen to the birds. If you fancy a day at the beach, Scarborough, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Filey are all within easy reach by car, A great place to get away from it all, Dalby is also a designated dark skies site so it's great for star gazing on a clear night.

The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.
