Welcome to Daisy Cottage! Newly refurbished, Daisy is a 1930 garden spot sitting atop a promontory surrounded by a stone wall in the heart of historic Haverford station. Daisy is a peaceful oasis for visitors to Bryn Mawr College (.9 miles), Haverford College (1 mile), Villanova Univ. (2.1 miles), and close to numerous private schools in the area. Starbucks is .2 miles, Acme .5 miles. Restaurants and walking trails. Well behaved pets may come for a $150. fee. NB: bedrms are on the 2nd floor.

This is a small BASEMENT apartment. The apt has a bedroom with full-sized bed (not queen), TV, small fireplace, full bath, and large closet. Also a sitting area-see pics. NO natural light in the space, except in the sitting area, but all spaces are well lit. Three doors, bedroom, bathroom and main which shuts apartment off from rest of basement. NO space for an additional air mattress as it only holds two folks in full bed. 3 cats with a cat door but no cats are ever allowed in the apartment.

This property has a private entrance, kitchen, bath, and bedroom. We preserved the cedar shake exterior, interior wood beams, original floors, & exposed the cupola. We are located in an upscale suburban college town. 2 train lines run close by, stations are in walking distance. Great restaurants, movie theater, health food store and public library. Train to Center City Philadelphia (25 min) Amtrak and cheap bus to New York City. No smoking, drugs, alcohol allowed in house or anywhere outside on the premises. Please don't book this room if you need to smoke or vape or drink alcohol. No TV. Get a good night sleep, bu not suitable to spend entire days.

You'll find bars, restaurants, stores, SEPTA/Amtrack stations, and Suburban Square within walking distance. It's also near many colleges such as Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College, Villanova University, and more. It's near the center city of Philadelphia and the King of Prussia mall. The most important thing is the security around the neighborhood.
