Mountain Getaway

Please Note: This property is not accessible with trailers or boats because of the tight turns on the road in. It is no problem for standard size cars or pickups. Come enjoy our Mountain Getaway nestled in The Nantahala National Forest and only 3 miles from Main St. in Franklin. You will enjoy quiet solitude after a full day of hiking, biking, white water rafting, or viewing some of our many waterfalls. Your GPS will get you to our door but feel free to call if further directions are needed.

Casa Paz: Creekside Oasis in the Smoky Mountains

Welcome to Casa Paz, located in Western North Carolina. Casa Paz is a creek side property at the gateway to the Smoky Mountains National Park. Enjoy this spacious one bedroom, one bathroom first floor apartment with expansive views of Jonathan Creek. Equipped with hot tub, kitchenette, rocking chairs, fire pit with grill, fireplace, portable heating, portable air conditioner, sofa bed and a laundry room. Beach access to the river for yoga, bathing, fishing, tubing, bird watching and more.

Kick back, relax and take in the spectular, unimpeded, year aound Lake and Mountain Views from your private apartment and porch. Just minutes away from everything that Lake Junaluska offers. Or, check out our nearby towns - Waynesville, Asheveiile, Maggie Valley, Sylva, Bryson City or Cherokee. There you will find restaurants, breweries, gift shops and galleries to enjoy. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Smokey Mountains Nat. Park with hiking, waterfalls and winter sports are also just up the road.

Private studio apartment

This apartment is attached to my home, but has a separate entrance. One queen bed. Kitchen area does not have a regular stove/oven but does have a counter top toaster/broiler/convection oven, brand new 2 burner stove top, electric skillet, microwave, refrigerator. Also, just added a TV to the apartment. Open area with couch and chair. Island top with 2 chairs. Private bathroom and access to washer & dryer. Guests can expect privacy while enjoying the deck and using the grill and/or hot tub.

Island Street Hideaway

The apartment features an open space perfect for watching TV, gathering together to play cards, and sharing meals. Both bedrooms feature queen beds. There is a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and half bathroom with large vanity. The kitchen is fully stocked and features a refrigerator, microwave, cooktop, and coffeemaker. Island Street is in Downtown Bryson City and you will be walking distance to all shops, restaurants, breweries, Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, and Island Park.

Located in the heart of downtown, the apartment features custom crafted beds made from black walnut, locust, and sassafras. Enjoy local restaurants, shops and breweries only minutes away! For those that enjoy fishing the area offers great opportunities on the surrounding lakes, rivers and streams. A short 5 minute drive you will find yourself at the entrance to one of the most visited Parks; Deep Creek National Park. Hiking trails and three beautiful waterfalls only minutes away!

This one level apartment is totally separate from our home which was built as a duplex. Quiet Peaceful. Private Paved road - 10 minutes to downtown Waynesville High Speed Internet! Perfect for a long term rental. Biltmore & Asheville nearby.4 mi to Lake Junaluska, 20 miles to Cherokee. Build a bonfire and enjoy the views!

Honey Mooners

Honey Mooners log cabin apartment, located with a Smoky Mountains stunning view, is the lower living quarters which is completely separated from the upper level. Sleeps up to 4 people comfortably. Spacious with a cozy living room, dinning room, one bedroom with king size bed, and a relaxing sunroom. Sofa bed. One full bathroom with linens and towels provided. Wi-Fi, Netflix, and gas fireplace, fire-pit, laundry and a full kitchen set up. Pets must be approved before booking.

Studio With A View

Great get away for two in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. Close to town, waterfalls, hiking and scenic views. Located in Franklin, NC and about an hours drive to Asheville, Cherokee, Maggie Valley, Bryson City and Clayton, GA! This unit is one of two available spaces attached to our home with private entrance, bed and bathroom. Easy access off state maintained paved road without sacrificing beautiful mountain views! No stairs to deal with!
