Located in the woods, watch the river flow by from any window, the porch or walk the trails. The main room has a leather loveseat, rocking chair and propane fireplace. The loft has a queen mattress. BBQ with side burner and all kitchen appliances are there. There is an outhouse. No shower. Wifi available on the property. Kayaks are accessed at The Nest which is the 2nd cabin (that you can't see). Firewood available for free. Incredible night skies. Space and privacy. A soul restoring getaway.

A private lakeside retreat with all-day sun and sunsets, featuring the main cabin, wood sauna, kayaks and rowboat, private shoreline and docks. Unlimited WIFI, a fully equipped kitchen, two fire pits, docks, excellent swimming (clean and weed free) on a private forested property. It is 15 minutes to Haliburton with many stores. Big Bear Cabin - Modern Creekside A-frame

Come visit our A-frame cabin in the woods on Eels Creek! I built this place myself over 18 months with some generous help from my friends and supervision from wife (in the form of naps). The area is known for its snowshoe and cross-country ski trails. At night we welcome you to cozy up by the outdoor firepit and enjoy the stars. Lots of firewood is provided with your rental. In the warmer months there is lots of hiking and paddling to do.

Sandy Lake is the jewel of the Kawarthas, perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming in the summer, and skating and exploring in the winter.
