Contemporary Country Experience

Contemporary country experience Enjoy the simplicity and restoration that rural peace offers without getting your hands dirty (*unless you want to!). This design inspired cottage provides a place for up to 6 people to take in the sunset sitting by the open fire, then wake to collect fresh eggs and watch the horses, cows and kangaroos graze, or wander down to the creek for a picnic. The cottage is fully enclosed in a fenced area 800m2. We have changed the fencing so none is electric.

The Lair - luxury retreat with stunning views

The Lair, Kangaroo Valley is situated on 14 acres of pristine bushland. Nestled high it enjoys 180 degrees views into the Valley below. Architecturally designed, by Alexander Michael, with a Scandi aesthetic. Featuring 6 metre high ceilings, polished concrete floors and birch ply walls, along with extensive use of glass that adds a wonderful sense of space and warmth, allowing the light to stream in from sunrise to sunset. Relax in our private beautiful Japanese Studio , open plan bedroom and living room with seperate small bathroom. NOT suitable for children or pets. Lyrebird Ridge Organic winery is tucked away in the quiet area known as Budgong. Set back off the road, you feel away from everything. National parks, Budgong Creek and a special view from a nearby lookout are all close by. Take time to visit our cellar door, sit around the firepit or find a quiet seat at one of the five dams. The Studio is one of two listings for accommodation. The Retreat is also on our property and shares the same building as The Studio.
