Welcome to our peaceful, spacious, art filled home: a real country escape. We live here full time and only Airbnb when we are away, so we hope you love it as much as we do. Wake to birdsong, meet our famous mini donks, stargaze by the firepit, relax on the veranda or in front of the log fires, bathe "'al fresco" or have long, lazy meals. It’s an easy 10-minute walk to Bundy's cafes and shops, 1 km to the waterfalls and walking tracks of Morton National Park. And don't miss the local wineries!

The Hideaway at Sylvan Glen Estate

Unique and stylish, The Hideaway is located within Sylvan Glen Estate, privately situated between The Homestead and The Cottage. It's a couple's only retreat, with luxurious finishes including full kitchen, 72sq/m living area, deck, firepit and even a wood fired outdoor bathtub. Airconditioning, king bed with Egyptian linens, 16 sq/m ensuite with double shower, sun deck overlooking the Estate's 7th fairway. Or as a base for an adventure - bush walking, mountain biking, wildlife spotting - or perhaps exploring the Southern Highlands foodie hot spots is more your thing. With a 2 car connected garage and indoor/outdoor sandstone fireplace, it comprises 2 large king bedrooms each with a walk-in robe and ensuite. There is ducted air conditioning, fully appointed kitchen, open plan living dining, concealed laundry, outdoor dining terrace, swinging seat and BBQ. Perfect for 2 couples or a family of 4 or 5. A peaceful retreat that’s only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Berrima, 3 minute drive to Bendooley Estate and 6 min’s to Centennial Vineyards. It’s a space that’s been designed to help you relax, and get away from it all, although you’ll still find every modern convenience you could possibly need. It also feels surprisingly large for a tiny home, with light streaming in the windows from your own private garden and the bushland beyond. And, yes, there are Kangaroos out there, all the time.

Welcome to your blissful getaway! This beautifully designed picture-perfect cottage is nestled in the heart of Sutton Forest, the ideal fit for anyone looking to relax and unwind. Enjoy the heated floors and an Internal fire at the press of a button. Firepit outside awaits, sizzle a steak or toast marshmallows under the stars. Snuggle up on the couch, stream a movie you never got to see or work on the super fast internet. Take a walk along the country lanes and enjoy the fresh air.

Contemporary Country Experience

Contemporary country experience Enjoy the simplicity and restoration that rural peace offers without getting your hands dirty (*unless you want to!). This design inspired cottage provides a place for up to 6 people to take in the sunset sitting by the open fire, then wake to collect fresh eggs and watch the horses, cows and kangaroos graze, or wander down to the creek for a picnic. The cottage is fully enclosed in a fenced area 800m2. We have changed the fencing so none is electric.

The Little House - Pet friendly*/Mid-week special!

While 'house' might be a stretch for this cosy studio-style room, it does have separate facilities. There's a separate "kitchenette", shower and toilet. IT HAS ONE KING SIZE BED and ONE SOFABED. The sofabed is charged at an additional $20/night. The Little House has everything you need for a short stay in The Highlands! * The property welcomes gentle, well socialised pups. The Little House backyard is also shared by my super friendly dog and ewe!

The Studio @ The Vale Penrose

The Vale is a masterpiece of rural design, encompassing expansive manicured grounds, an eclectic mix of farm animals and wildlife and a range of luxurious accommodations to suit the most discerning taste. The Little House

The Little House is a freestanding 1940’s wooden tiny house in our back garden. It has a private exterior bathroom located at the back of the main house. Our property was featured on the ABC program Escape From The City and is a uniquely cute piece of North Nowra history. The Little House has a private verandah and kitchenette. A complimentary light breakfast is included for short stays. There is also a fire pit.
