Harben Cottage in the green hills of Ardara

Harben Cottage is a 150 year old traditional stone cottage - 5mins drive from the Heritage Town of Ardara (20mins walk). Set amongst lush green hills & sitting next to a bubbling mountain stream. A mixture of new and old; low doorways, a turf fireplace, water supplied from a mountain spring, but also a gas cook top, oven, microwave, WIFI, & central heating. NB: that the toilet & shower are housed in outside annex - this may not suit everyone but adds a touch of authenticity for the brave!

Swiss Cottage is over 100 years old and is situated in Glencar Valley, with wonderful views down to Glencar Lough and King's Mountain. The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 15 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket and Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. The check in time is between 4pm and 7pm. Check out time is 11am. We need to know an estimated time of arrival please.

Set on the hill side up a private track over looking the valley and pastures. There is a great and friendly local pub 10 minute walk away and Donegal town and Murvagh beach and golf links are a 10 minute drive. There are fantastic walks from the doorstep.

Located adjacent to the Sandhouse Hotel & Fin McCool Surf School, our refurbished holiday apartment has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen/living area & its own private patio area. World famous Rossnowlagh Beach is a 25 metre stroll from your door. Our other 'surfers apartment' is on the ground floor below this apartment and also sleeps 4, larger groups may want to book out both apartments simultaneously.
