Welcome to our super cute, off-grid A-frame! We hope your stay at The Black Bear is filled with as much laughter and relaxation as we have when we stay here. We have created a joyfully unique retreat for you to enjoy. And who doesn't LOVE an A-frame, right? Our cute getaway is powered completely by the sun and it has all of the modern amenities you'd expect including Starlink wifi! There is also a whole-home generator for back-up power if needed. Paul Bunyans mountain home in Canon City

Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay. Fully fenced in back yard so make sure to pack your well behaved dogs for your stay with us. See you soon!
