Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Set in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, our dog-friendly cottage sits on the main artery of North Wales, the A5 and nestled between Betws-y-Coed, the Ogwen Valley and the Snowdon Horseshoe. If it is location that you are after, then you cant really get better than here. Portmerion, Snowdon, Bodnant Gardens, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Velocity & Titan Zip Wire's and Conwy Castle are all within a 40 minute drive. 1 small dog accepted on request.

Rhiw Goch Cottage is a spacious detached one bedroom stone-built cottage with wood burner dating from the 18th century or earlier. Our guests love the cottage for it's rustic charm and beautiful gardens with viewpoints over the Lledr valley. It's on a quiet hillside surrounded by craggy ancient woodland about 3 miles from Betws-y-Coed, well placed to explore Snowdonia but also well off the beaten track. PLEASE NOTE we are unable to accept children under 10 yr old due to safety reasons.
