Separate entrance via a beautiful glass atrium with amazing views. Private stargazing terrace & Telescope 2 guests maximum Shared garden. Pets considered please ask first.

The Rookery

After much research, I think this cottage was likely built somewhere in the 1500's. It has quirky uneven walls, VERY LOW BEAMS (TAKE CARE) upstairs made from sailing ships that travelled the world. There's no kitchen, but is a dining room with mini fridge, microwave kettle, crockery, cutlery and tea making things and a large container for you to leave your dishes out for me. *DOGS* Please keep dogs off the bed and furniture as the dog hairs just spread over everything in the washing machine.

No.2 West Layton Manor is part of an Historic Victorian Manor House built in 1872. The property provides the perfect setting for families and friends gathering for special occasions or holidays in beautiful North Yorkshire. The property boasts 6 kingsize bedrooms equipped with 6 full ensuite bathrooms. A further 7th bathroom is located on the ground floor. There are 3 large reception rooms, 2 open log fires, and approximately 1/2 an acre of gardens. There is private parking for 8 vehicles.

Hadrian's Wall, Hexham market town, country walks, cycle routes and village pubs all a stones throw from the doorstep. The Michelin Star restaurant,Pines is 10 mins away. In the heart of the North of England you will find our accommodation set within an area of outstanding natural beauty. The rooms we offer have been designed with the explorer in mind, to use a base to explore the local surrounding area, the Lake District, Northumberland and Durham. We have had guests walking the Isaacs Tea Trail as well as cyclists doing the C2C. After a long day exploring the local area return to refresh yourself in our spacious bathroom complete with underfloor heating.

Farmhouse annex in Northumberland village

The Old Farmhouse is a period property in the village of Slaley. A separate annex offers guests a sitting room with wood burning stove and a large family bedroom. A separate kitchen provides full electric oven with induction hob, fridge, microwave, and a washing machine. The Rose and Crown, is a community pub/restaurant located in the village and there is also a small community shop. It is only 1 mile to Slaley Hall with its excellent restaurant, leisure facilities and golf course.

Our beautiful shepherd's hut sits in four acres of secluded woodland in rural Hexhamshire. Enjoy the peaceful solitude, with glimpsed views through the mature oaks onto the North Pennines. Surrounded by miles of footpaths, bridleways and moorland, there are walking, cycling and riding options in every direction. Nearby rural pubs offer delicious local ales and fantastic food. Or cook up something tasty over the firepit grill, then enjoy a drink on the raised deck in the evening sun.

An excellent touring base, located near Hadrian’s Wall, Roman forts, Hexham Abbey, and Kielder Water and Forest Park.

This beautiful hideaway is completely hidden from view, overlooking rolling velvet farmland of the North Pennines area of outstanding natural beauty and has been refurbished to an extremely high standard with attention to design and detail.
