A 10 minute walk into Pembroke town centre where you will find a medieval castle, built in 1093 and birthplace to Henry VII, which is accompanied by a stunning mill pond, cafes, restaurants and bars. The annex is a newly renovated fully equipped home from home and has 2 sofa beds for extra guests.

The Barn is a converted donkey stable, with traditional lime plaster walls and upcycled timber giving it a rustic feel. The courtyard is gated and secure for pets, perfect for drinks and BBQ in the summer. No children under 12 due to fire safety regs for the sleeping mezzanines. It is a wonderful space, with a luxurious, and extremely comfortable king size bed, and a hotub located on the decking which is included in the price.

We are 15 minutes by car to the beaches at Freshwater West, top surfing spot and home to Dobby’s Grave, Broadhaven South and the stunning Barafundle to name but a few. In addition the charming seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot are only a 20 minute drive making Driftaway Cottage the perfect base to explore all Pembrokeshire has to offer.

The wooden beams and whitewashed walls fill the space with character and although there is no mistaking Little Whitewell's history, the bright accessories, modern shower room and comfortable bed make a stay here a delight for any traveller in 2026. Some of the barns have been developed for holiday lets, but some are still existing buildings, The property has been done out in a modern but countryside feel , naming the bedrooms with some of our local sights which are a must visit!
